STEEL NATION MAKES TOP 100 METAL BUILDERS LIST

Washington, PA USA – May 12, 2014-Steel Nation, Inc. (dba Steel Nation Steel Buildings) has been ranked as a Top 100 North American Metal Builders by Metal Construction News for the fourth consecutive year in a row. Each year, Metal Construction News ranks the 100 Top Metal Builders of the year by both tonnage and square footage built. For the year 2013 Steel Nation was ranked #12 in Tonnage and #23 in Square Footage.

Steel Nation’s tonnage increased 6.9 percent from 2012 to 2013 to a total of 2,278 tons. The company also increased the total square footage built by 5.3 percent to 476,552 square feet. As a whole, the Top Metal Builders in the U.S. increased their steel usage by more than 26 percent and the building size by 29 percent, showing an upward trend in overall American construction activity.
