Steel Nation, Inc. (dba Steel Nation Steel Buildings) is a proud Washington, Pennsylvania based Corporation working primarily in the Energy Sector of North America. Originally founded to design/build/turn-key large scale coal prep plants, Steel Nation has evolved into the leading design/builder of natural gas compressor stations, primarily mid-stream but also transmission and storage compression facilities throughout the Marcellus, Utica and other American shale plays. Steel Nation uses Auto-CAD design and engineering for every one of their buildings. For complicated projects involving processing equipment and multiple structures, the sharing of Auto-CAD drawings enables engineers and architects to “overlay” the steel building over and around the processing equipment to ensure clearances are not interfering with the structures. From full-color architectural renderings, anchor bolt plans and the sharing of .DWG and .DXF Auto-CAD files, Steel Nation is leading the industry in utilizing new technologies to design, deliver and erect projects that are 100% correct from the start.
